
My second take at Artesian Bread using my new Christmas cookbook (Artesian Bread in 5 Minutes a Day). This crunchy loaf just out of the oven is approximately a two pound loaf baked on my tried and true pizza stone. The bread is 50% whole wheat and 50% white flour. This was the first time I have ever used a steam pan while baking bread, it really worked. Lots of fun and it tastes good too. My first loaf was almost completely consumed before I got my camera out.
