For the last three weeks I have been using a weekly meal planner to focus my grocery shopping. I tend to be very impulsive when it comes to purchasing at the grocery store. It is my hope that with better planning that I can save money, reduce waste and save space in the cupboards. I usually plan on Fridays but will post on Monday in order to stick with the program. The idea of knowing what's for dinner before I leave for work on Monday is a real impetus for getting started. My kids are always teasing me that I keep trying to get organized but the results are slow. My co-workers see me as very organized...something must be working. I just need to keep in mind the following slogan from the guru herself, Laura "Organizing is a process not a destination".
Saturday: Dinner Out with my honey
Sunday: Crockpot Alphabet Potroast and vegetables
Monday: Crockpot Vegetarian Chilli with rice
Tuesday: Chicken Soup with rolls
Wednesday: Baked Ziti
Thursday: Crockpot Greek Chicken with noodles
Friday: Once a Month Cooking Lemon Chicken
